I have no idea why I kept this and I don't think I was old enough to go to a show in a bar yet when this took place. I'm sure Mike from Aspirin Feast gave this to me. I remember seeing flyers with the Farside Tavern on them fairly often, but never went there. And now I live fairly close to that address, I might just have to drive by and see what's there now.
I went to see Asprin Feast at Washington Hall in the late eighties and the lead singer started a riot when he started bashing this skinhead on the head with the mic stand
ReplyDeleteI was at that show too. If I remember right, Mike stopped the music yelled over the mic for everyone to stop fighting during the show. Then one skin came up and got in his face yelling and he just started bashing his face/head with the mic stand. From "stop fighting" to I'll beat your face in, all in the the span of about 5 seconds. Then all hell broke loose.
