"Skank or Die" 1984 article from Playboy
I posted an illustration from this June 1984 Playboy article on punk last week, promising to scan the full article in soon. Here it is! Awesome! Thanks for posting this, I was eager to read it. This actually was a decent article--I like how the author describes the punk scene with broad strokes (the fun, the art, the idiocy, the politics, the cliques) across a few cities.
The reference to Mr. Jack Klugman's Quincy was the funniest bit of the article. Years ago, I heard audio clips from that episode and they were quite amusing.
P.S.I would have loved to have been at the D.C. show to see Scream and Void.
